Pampero is about the things Argentina does best - great steak, good wine, food cooked over fire and long meals shared around the table.

Named after the Pampas, Argentina's legendary grasslands and the heartland of its cattle and asado culture, Pampero brings those traditions to Woolloongabba through bold flavours, quality produce and genuine Argentinian hospitality.

From premium cuts off the grill and our signature Asado Experience served on the brasero, to empanadas, choripán, Malbec and plenty of dulce de leche - this is our little piece of Argentina in Brisbane.

At Pampero, the menu starts with great produce and big Argentinian flavours. Premium cuts hit the grill, empanadas arrive hot, and our signature Asado Experience brings a selection of grilled meats to the table on the brasero.

Come for a steak, order a few plates to share, or settle in for the full experience. Add chimichurri, twice cooked provenzal-style potatoes, a glass of Malbec - and always leave room for dulce de leche.

Pampero is as much about the people around the table as it is about what lands on it.

So we pulled up a chair with Julian and Bruno to talk food, Argentina, how Pampero came to be - and the dishes and drinks they’d order when they’re on the other side of the table.
