OUR STORY

A LITTLE PIECE OF ARGENTINA, RIGHT HERE IN BRISBANE.

At Pampero, the idea is simple: good food, good wine and plenty of time around the table.

Our food takes its inspiration from the way Argentina eats. Steaks over the grill, chorizo sizzling over heat, house-made empanadas, chimichurri on the table and dishes designed to be passed around and shared.

At the centre of it all is the asado - more than simply a way of cooking, it’s an Argentine tradition built around gathering people together. Fire, food, conversation and a table nobody is in a hurry to leave.

That spirit is what we wanted to bring to Woolloongabba.

BUILT AROUND THE FIRE.

Fire is at the heart of Argentine cooking, and it’s at the heart of Pampero too.

Our premium cuts are cooked over the grill, while our signature Pampero Asado Experience brings the tradition to the table itself. A selection of grilled meats is served on a traditional brasero, keeping everything warm while you share, pour another glass and take your time.

Because for us, the best meals aren't rushed.

They're shared.

ARGENTINA, ON THE TABLE.

There’s much more to Argentine food than steak.

Start with knife-cut beef empanadas or choripán with salsa criolla and chimichurri. Order something from the grill. Add twice cooked provenzal-style potatoes and steamed vegetables to the table.

Then there's the wine.

Argentina and Malbec have become almost inseparable, so you'll find bottles from Mendoza sitting alongside Australian and international wines chosen to work with the food.

And if you want to do things the Argentine way, start the night with Fernet and Coca-Cola.

Just make sure you leave room for dulce de leche panqueques.

THE PAMPERO ASADO EXPERIENCE

For those wanting to experience the heart of Pampero, our 3-Course Argentinian Sharing Experience brings the table together.

Begin with your choice of knife-cut beef empanadas or Pampero's choripán before the main event arrives: a selection of grilled meats served to share on the brasero, accompanied by chimichurri, salsa criolla, twice cooked provenzal-style potatoes and an Argentininan russian salad.

Finish with one of Argentina's great loves - chocotorta or flan with dulce de leche.

It’s generous, social and designed to be eaten slowly.

Just as an asado should be.

MORE THAN DINNER.

Pampero isn't intended to be somewhere you simply eat and leave.

Come for a long lunch. Bring someone for date night. Gather the whole crew around the table. Order a bottle of Malbec. Try a Fernet. Stay for another cocktail.

There’s no ceremony and no rush.

Just warm hospitality, generous food and the kind of night that somehow lasts a little longer than you planned.

Good food. Good people. No rush.

That's how we like to do things in Argentina.

And that's Pampero.
